PCI (Precast Concrete Institute) Compliant brick are a specialized offering of thin brick that are used specifically for precast walls that are manufactured off-site in a controlled environment before being transported to the construction site. The PCI Compliant Thin Brick’s edges are ground down to ensure enhanced dimensional tolerances to fit into the precast mold. Often these bricks are also sprayed with a wax coating to protect the face of the Thin Brick and help with easy cleaning after casting into concrete.
